Walk & Talk Therapy in Adelaide

Walk and Talk Therapy is as it sounds; a confidential psychotherapy session, whilst walking outside together.

I follow your pace, both in the flow of therapy and the pace of walking. My clients find that walking naturally shifts their emotions and leaves them feeling calm and relaxed.

The Walk and Talk therapy I offer is not intended to be ‘exercise’ and your fitness level is NOT important, what is most important is that you feel heard.

In saying that, most of my clients love the endorphins that are released after a stroll with me in the beautiful outdoors and we always seem to find natural gifts along the way to delight in.

Locations in Stirling, Adelaide Hills and at Glenelg, South Australia.

My consultation rooms are located in two beautiful areas; Stirling and Glenelg North, S.A.

My hills room is co-located with Stirling Fit Co. A vibrant welcoming gym that offers its members and the public an inclusive, holistic approach to health. That’s why Walk and Talk Therapy sits so well in the range of services offered from the gym. The team based at Stirling Fit Co. offer counselling and psychotherapy, personal training, exercise physiology, remedial massage, and non-diet dietitian services. I’m proud to share with the team our progressive vision of helping people with their physical and emotional health.

My coastal room is located on the beachfront at Glenelg North. My consultation room is a private haven with ocean views plus we have the option to enjoy walk and talk therapy directly below as we walk along the foreshore.

Sessions by appointment. One on one psychotherapy with Ailsa: $205.00 per hour.

I came to Ailsa at a time in my life where I had lost direction and needed help. Ailsa is passionate about life and being healthy at every size. Her positive attitude is inspirational. She is open about her own challenges. I have found that this has allowed me to take a deep breath and know that I am not alone. After each session, I feel focused and ready to take on the world! Sessions with Ailsa allow time to stop my ‘spaghetti brain” and explore the many layers of who I am. As a health professional I have the utmost respect for Ailsa and can highly recommend her services. I wish for more people like her!

Taking the step to see Ailsa for counselling was a big one for me, and I am forever grateful that I did. Ailsa is such a beautiful soul, and was a gentle, compassionate and genuine confidante. She made me laugh, shed a tear along with me, and made me feel so nurtured. I can’t thank you enough for everything, Ailsa. You helped me through a really dark time and I will always cherish your wisdom and advice. It was spot on, and it was so good to speak to someone who just “got it”.

I can’t wait to share more walk and talk sessions with you in the future.
